Passo Maniva Overview

Passo Maniva is a picturesque ski resort nestled in the beautiful landscapes of Brescia, offering a tranquil escape into nature. The resort is particularly appreciated for its peaceful surroundings, as it is located higher than the typical car park and provides a serene environment blanketed in snow. The ski resort is an ideal destination for those who appreciate nature's tranquility, offering stunning landscapes, panoramic views, and the unique experience of sometimes finding oneself amidst the clouds.

This splendid resort connects three Brescian valleys from the top of Val Trompia, which is the main and most comfortable road to reach Maniva. From there, visitors can progress towards the small Ravenola and Dasdana Passes and the point called Dosso dei Galli. These connect Maniva to the famous Crocedomini Pass, which descends into Val Camonica on one side and Val Sabbia on the other. For an alternative route, visitors can descend directly to Bagolino via an asphalt road.

Passo Maniva is not just a ski resort; it also offers a range of services including bars, restaurants, bivouacs, refuges, and hotels. The alpine landscape, about an hour's drive from the center of Brescia, is perfect for those who appreciate the tranquillity of nature. The resort offers numerous scenic hiking itineraries, making it an ideal destination for a bike or motorbike trip.

The resort is also home to a former military base and trenches from the Great War, which have been made accessible for visitors to explore. It is an excellent spot for camper stops, with a large and quiet Piazzale Alto Dosso that houses a restaurant and a pizzeria. For snow lovers, there is a lift to the ski slope.

In addition to its winter offerings, Passo Maniva is equally splendid in the summer, with opportunities for e-biking and visiting historical sites. The resort offers fantastic, breathtaking 360-degree views and a good road surface. In summary, Passo Maniva is a classic destination with a stunning panorama, offering a combination of splendid landscapes and historical exploration.
