Bruce Mound Overview

Bruce Mound is a cherished ski resort offering a variety of winter activities to suit all experience levels. The resort boasts a number of upgrades that have greatly enhanced the visitor experience. The recently introduced magic carpet conveyor belt, for example, stands as a notable upgrade to the ski resort's tubing area. This user-friendly feature has replaced the previous tow rope system, and now whisks guests comfortably to the top of the hill, thereby significantly reducing wait times.

The repositioning of the tubing runs to the other side of the magic carpet has resulted in a less steep slope at the top of the hill, which may reduce the initial speed for some tubers. However, the ten snow tubing runs offer a varied experience, with differing speeds and smoothness levels to cater to everyone's tastes. Bruce Mound offers newly purchased tubes, available in both adult and child sizes, ideal for riding down the snow tubing runs.

The ski resort also caters to snowboarders and downhill skiers with a bunny hill and terrain park served by the previous tubing tow rope, which offers speeds at least twice as fast as the magic carpet ride. The resort also features a sizeable chalet, equipped with tables and chairs, alongside a food stand to help guests refuel throughout the day.

Despite some criticism around the resort's operating hours and the value of the season pass, many visitors find Bruce Mound to be a beloved local ski hill. The resort offers a variety of ski runs, including bunny hill, tubing, a stunt park, and several black diamond runs, ensuring there is something for every ski level. The chalet also offers full-service food and rentals, with party rooms available for group bookings.

Bruce Mound's commitment to customer service is also evident, with staff members like Gene being praised for their helpfulness and dedication to ensuring guests have a great experience. Despite a few minor criticisms, many visitors find the resort to offer an affordable and enjoyable ski experience.
